Our Queens location is open for students of all ages and levels. The
advantages of visiting a school location include a wider variety of
classes and lessons as well as opportunity to interact with other
students with similar interests. We offer the following types of individual
lessons and classes:

piano lessons       guitar lessons        drum lessons
violin lessons       voice lessons

At the initial visit each student receives a free assessment.  Based on
that we determine the duration of the lesson and create an individual
plan for study.
The repertoire we cover ranges from classical to more
contemporary styles depending on the student's interests. Our
students have the opportunity to perform in a formal recital once every
semester in a recital hall in Manhattan. We also organize additional
smaller performances at the school several times throughout the year.

DoReMi Bee® Toddler (ages 2-3), 4-6 students w/caregiver
DoReMi Bee® Pre-Schooler (ages 3-4), 4-6 students w/caregiver
A combination of Music, Letters and Numbers create a fun learning
environment. Children learn recognizing music symbols for pitch and
rhythm through games and songs.

Introduction to Music for Pre-K (ages 4-5), 4 students
A preparatory 1 semester class focused on the music basics and
choice of instrument. Children are introduced to music notation (note
reading and rhythms) as well as different instruments: violin, guitar,
and piano. At the end of the semester children are transitioned to their
instrument of choice.

Acting the Song
– (4-6 students per class), ages 5-8 and 9-13
Become a better performer by learning how to use acting and body
movement to interpret the lyrics of a song. Open for beginner and
advanced singers.

Musical Theater – (6-8 students per class), ages 6 and up
Join our Musical Theater Class and learn your favorite songs from the
masters! Coaching in vocal technique with elements of movement and
acting will bring joy and confidence in every young singer! The class is
led by experts in Musical Theater and Vocal Pedagogy.

Little Singers – (4-6 students per class), ages 4-6
Children in this age group love to sing but are not quite ready for
formal vocal training. In this class they will learn their favorite songs
along with some movement, music theory, and ear-training introduced
in a fun, interactive way.

Piano and Theory Class
– (4-6 students per class), ages 4 and up
This class is ideal for students that learn better with peers and are
excited about playing duets and in larger groups. We keep the number
of students low so that each student gets individual attention. The
theory is fun and presented in the form of games and engaging
activities including puzzles, rhythm games, and sight singing.
Beginners and Advanced Beginners are welcome.

Beginner Violin Class – (4-6 students per class), ages 5 and up
Beginner Guitar Class – (4-6 students per class), ages 7 and up
Enroll in one of these small group classes to learn the basics of the
instrument. A group of this size allows plenty of room for individual
attention while it is large enough to develop the skill of playing in a
small ensemble. This is a great first step towards becoming an
orchestra or band member in the future.

Rock Band – (4-6 students per class)
Come jam with us! Most guitar students envision playing in a band
once they master the instrument. This is a wonderful opportunity to get
the feel of it. Learn your part and play along with everyone else or just
improvise! Either way it will be fun! Must pass an audition by the
teacher to join the class.

Our Manhattan students enjoy music lessons in the convenience of
their home. For the busy Manhattan parent it is a great opportunity to
expose their child to excellent music education without having to leave
their home. You can choose one or more of the following types of
music lessons:

piano lessons        guitar lessons
violin lessons        voice lessons

Children and adults are welcome! Beginner, intermediate and
advanced levels are available.

The repertoire we cover ranges from early classical to Broadway and
Rock. After the initial evaluation, we create an individual program of
study for each student, according to his/her needs. Our goal is to lay a
good foundation while having fun and nurturing the love of music within
every student. We celebrate our students' achievements at the annual
Winter and Spring Recitals. Lessons are conducted once a week at
the student's home. Lesson duration depends on the student's age
and level.

We believe that each student who is learning an instrument must study
theory and ear training. To eliminate the inconvenience of having two
lessons per week, we have created a mini theory and ear training
course. It is included in the instrumental lesson and is taught by the
instrumental teacher.
