His passion for teaching is started very young, beginning teaching privately while still a high
school student, in the Grammy- Award winning music department of Neuqua Valley High
School. He has served as teaching assistant to the teaching studio of Susan S. Starrett, who
herself was a protégé of esteemed Hungarian violinist and pedagogue Paul Rolland. While
earning a Bachelor’s degree, he served as a chamber music mentor and orchestral instructor
at the Juilliard Pre-College Program. He has had many successes with his private studio of
violinists and violists- with past students gaining acceptance into top conservatories such as
the Cleveland Institute of Music, Indiana University, and Juilliard. He works hard to make sure
his students develop a lifelong passion and respect for music and art.
