Kalina  Maleva  has  shared  her  love  of  music  over  eleven  years  as  a piano
teacher and  a performer. She began  her piano lessons at age of 5. Over  the next few
years ( as a student at School of Music in Rousse, Bulgaria) she made a rapid progress,  
winning numerous  prizes in Piano Competitons,  held both in  Bulgaria  and abroad.
She  completed  her  Master’s   Degree  from  Academy  of Music  and Dance  Arts  
with  excellence. Kalina  attended  various  master  classes in Sofia, Weimar  and  New
York   City, where  she  worked  with  Jenny  Zacharieva,  Rudolf  Kehrer and  Steven   
Mayer  from  Manhattan  School  of  Music.

Upon  her  arrival  in the  United  States,  she  began  teaching  piano  at  “Song  and a
Dance”  and  Swan  Piano  Company. Currently  Kalina  is  a member  of the  piano
faculty   at  Varta  Academy  of  Musical  Arts  and  Art  Plaza, where  her  students  are  
earning  distinctive  marks  in  New  York  State  School  Music  Association  
Examination ( NYSSMA) and  Associated  Board  of  Royal  School of  Music( ABRSM).
Currently, she  is preparing  for the  Doctoral  Program  at  Manhattan  School   of  Music.
